Cricket Victoria onboards Tinnies as official beer partner of Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars

Tinnies, following its partnership with Cricket Victoria, will receive pourage rights at the CitiPower Centre at Junction Oval.

The governing body for cricket in the Australian state of Victoria, Cricket Victoria has penned a multi-year sponsorship association with the award-winning craft beer, Tinnies.

Following the partnership, the brand has been named the official beer partner of the Big Bash League (BBL) outfits, Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars for the next three years. The brand will receive pourage rights at the CitiPower Centre at Junction Oval and will be provided for all official events due to this new agreement.

Tinnies, an Australian-made craft beer that debuted at the national Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market and Vintage Cellars stores in 2018, promises to make high-quality craft beer available to everyone.

Tinnies are made with the best hops, malt, and barley and are accessible in eight different types, spanning lager, ultra-low, and pale ale, which was named World’s Best English Style Pale Ale and Country Winner for Pale Ale at the World Beer Awards last year.

Tinnies Senior Marketing Manager Brylie Dauparas, said, “These two iconic Aussie brands are a match made in heaven and we’re looking forward to a strong three-year innings together,” said Brylie. Whether you’re cheering on the Melbourne Renegades or Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League, or supporting Victoria at the Marsh Sheffield Shield or the Women’s National Cricket League, we’re looking forward to becoming the official beer for fans across the state and doing our bit to support community clubs.”

Cricket Victoria General Manager Consumer Business Toby Williams, said, “I’d like to welcome Tinnies to the Cricket Victoria partner family in what is an exciting new chapter for both businesses. Our fans will be able to enjoy fantastic Tinnies beers at matches and events throughout the year. In a further benefit for cricket clubs, this partnership will deliver a number of great opportunities to community clubs.”

In keeping with the historic agreement, Coles Liquor, the parent firm of Tinnies, will also be offering drink solutions to neighbourhood cricket clubs, who will benefit from exclusive Cricket Victoria offers, 30-day credit options and thousands of varied products at unbeatable prices with flexible delivery schedules.

The deal comes after Liquorland was recently designated Cricket Australia‘s official partner for the next four years.
