Champions League: Manuel Neuer confident about Bayern Munich for the next round

On Tuesday Bayern Munich plays Paris Saint Germain in the second leg of quarterfinal. Even after being the better team on the stats sheet, Bayern failed to convert their chances and are now on the brink of a surprise exit from the Champions League.

Bayern don’t have any margin for error as they enter the game having conceded three away goals. Thethe Bavarians will not only have to win by a margin of two goals but also make sure that they do not allow PSG to score.

The odds are against the German giants but the Bayern camp is pretty positive as they believe they have what it takes to turn around the tie.

Captain of Bayern Munich Manuel Neuer ahead of the big clash said, “We need to stay calm in our heads, but have fire in our heart. We want to approach the game the right way, with motivation, a good attitude of course, and the stability you need against such quick players.”

The pace of Neymar and Mbappe is something Bayern do not have to deal with on a daily basis. Therefore being clever without the ball will also be important. Bayern will have to remain compact and show more aggression.

Neuer also went ahead to say, “We’ll need to keep our cool, play attacking football and put them under pressure. They have problems at the back. If we create as many chances as we did in Munich, then we can do it.”

The Bayern camp is pretty confident that the comeback is gonna happen as they are the superior side to PSG and have a Never Die spirit in them.

Even the likes of Thomas Muller and Lucas Hernandez are pretty confident that all Bayern need is an efficient performance and not any miracle.
