BYJU’S names ITW Sports as global activation partner for ICC Cricket and FIFA Football World Cup 2022

The Indian ed-tech giant, BYJU’S, has announced the US-based sports consulting firm, ITW Sports Inc, as its official global activation partner for the ICC Cricket and FIFA Football World Cup. ITW played a prodigious role in BYJU’S esteemed agreements with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC).

This development is followed by BYJU’S joining the upcoming Qatar World Cup 2022 as the official sponsor along with a three-year collaboration with the ICC, which allowed the Bangalore-based company to team up with ICC events till the end of 2023 including the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.

Commenting on the enriching partnership between ITW and BYJU’S, Nikhil Vyas, Founding Partner, ITW Universe & CEO ITW Sports Inc. USA, said, “ITW and BYJU’S share a long-standing relationship and we are proud of the work we have done to find the right platforms in international cricket and football for BYJU’S to achieve the global brand objectives.

The activation of the ongoing T20 World Cup will be helmed by the Indian office of ITW while the FIFA World Cup activation will be handled by the US office.

In its fruitful association with the FIFA World Cup and ICC events, BYJU’S is entitled to in-venue assets, broadcast, and digital rights.

Speaking on the deals in the international sports circuit, BYJU’S Marketing Head, said, “Our sponsorship deals in International Cricket and Football have given us great visibility and have helped position BYJU’S become a household name in India.
