beIN Sports to provide comprehensive coverage of Wimbledon until 2028 in France

beIN will also host a daily program that will feature a summary of Wimbledon's activities from each day.

The Qatari media group and television broadcaster, beIN Sports has renewed its exclusive media rights deal for the most prestigious grand slam in tennis, Wimbledon in France, until 2028.

With the five-year renewal, the network controlled by Qatar maintains a deal it has had since 2014 with the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC).

For the tenth consecutive year, beIN will offer comprehensive coverage of Wimbledon in this edition. Two specific channels, one of which will be a “multicourt” channel, will be used by the broadcaster to carry coverage.

beIN will also host a daily program that will feature a summary of the tournament’s activities from each day.

Wimbledon 2024 is all set to take place from July 1 to July 14. In 2023, Carlos Alcaraz and Marketa Vondrousova won SW19 for the first time. This year’s event will be the 137th, beginning in less than 100 days.

Yousef Al-Obaidly, President of beIN Sports France and Group Chief Executive of beIN Media Group, said, “This is fantastic news for our subscribers, with Wimbledon being the centerpiece of our international tennis offering. We have built a vibrant business over recent years, based on a brilliant portfolio of sports rights and guided by a rational and long-term business plan.”

beIN’s tennis repertoire in France also encompasses the Billie Jean King Cup, Davis Cup, and the women’s Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Tour circuit.
