BCCI unveils ITT for title sponsorship rights of BCCI events

The ITT needs to be acquired from BCCI by any interested party to put forward a bid.

The Indian apex cricket governing entity, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released a new Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the title sponsorship rights of BCCI events.

The BCCI has invited bids from reputed entities for acquiring the title sponsor rights. The ITT, which will be made accessible upon receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of INR 1,00,000 in addition to any relevant GST, contains the specific terms and conditions regulating the tender process. This also includes eligibility requirements, the procedure for submitting bids, rights and obligations, etc.

This notice’s Annexure A lists the steps to obtain the ITT materials. Up to August 21, 2023, the ITT will be up for sale. In accordance with the steps outlined in Annexure A, interested parties are asked to email titlesponsor.itt@bcci.tv to gain the financial information related to their purchase of the ITT. It is also made abundantly clear that the ITT documents can only be released after payment of the non-refundable ITT fee has been confirmed.

The ITT needs to be acquired by any interested party to put forward a bid. To submit a bid, an applicant must, however, meet the ITT’s eligibility requirements and adhere to all of its other terms and conditions. It is made clear that merely acquiring the ITT does not grant someone the right to place a bid.
