BCCI unveils ITT for Indian team’s lead sponsorship rights

Up until June 26, 2023, the ITT will be for sale.

The Indian apex cricket governing entity, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released a new Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the national team lead sponsor rights.

The ITT, which will be offered upon receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of INR 5,00,000 plus any necessary Goods and Services Tax (GST), contains the specific terms and conditions governing the tender process, such as eligibility requirements, the procedure for submitting bids, rights and obligations, etc. The steps to obtain the ITT documents are given in this notice’s Annexure A. Up until June 26, 2023, the ITT will be for sale.

In accordance with the steps outlined in Annexure A, interested parties are asked to email teamsponsor.itt@bcci.tv. It is made clear by BCCI that the ITT documents can only be released after payment of the non-refundable ITT fee has been confirmed.

The ITT must be purchased in order for any interested party to submit a bid. To submit a bid, an applicant must, however, meet the ITT’s eligibility requirements and adhere to all of its other terms and conditions. It is made abundantly clear that merely acquiring the ITT does not grant someone the right to place a bid.

The interested parties are directed to Annexure B, which lists the brand categories in which they are not permitted to bid.
