Aston Villa collaborate with Corpay to enable the usage of cutting-edge technology

Corpay has been named Aston Villa FC’s official commercial foreign exchange partner.

The Premier League side, Aston Villa FC have inked a sponsorship deal with the global leader in business payments, Corpay.

With this deal, the brand has been named the club’s official commercial foreign exchange partner.

Corpay, the global leader in corporate payments, helps organizations of all sizes track, manage, and pay their spending more effectively. Corpay’s clients have access to a wide range of online payment alternatives, including bill payment, AP automation, payments across borders, foreign risk management, and commercial card programs.

Aston Villa will have access to and be able to use Corpay’s cutting-edge technologies through this agreement, along with their larger ecosystem of corporate business partners, to assist in reducing their exposure to foreign exchange risk. Furthermore, they will be able to handle their international payments from a single point of access by utilizing Corpay Cross-Border’s award-winning platform.

Chris Heck, President of Business Operations at Aston Villa, said, “We are thrilled to announce a partnership with Corpay. Like Aston Villa, they are a global brand with lofty ambitions who will authentically integrate with the business side of the club. This partnership is a sign of our strategic approach to sponsorship and commercial development as we look forward to a new era of greatness at Aston Villa.”

Brad Loder, Vice President, Cross-Border Marketing at Corpay Cross-Border Solutions, said, “The Corpay Cross-Border team is very excited to be named the Official Commercial FX Partner for Aston Villa FC. With our strong focus on growing the Corpay brand, along with our corporate payments and foreign exchange business globally, we are excited by the opportunity to partner with one of the Premier League’s oldest and most successful football clubs.”

The Villans also developed a sponsorship deal with one of Asia’s leading betting platforms, BK8. In the ongoing PL season, Aston Villa are currently 10th in the standings with six points from four games. They will next face Crystal Palace on September 16.
