This places it second in the history of Premier League broadcasts in all languages behind the match between Manchester United and Arsenal on January 22, 2023, which attracted 2.31 million viewers overall but fewer viewers in the English language.
At an average minute audience of 464,000 on the Peacock service, the game was the second most streamed match of the 2023–24 season. This was less than the 509,000 viewers of the Liverpool vs Manchester United match on December 17.
