Arsenal, adidas team up with Maharishi

The Premier League (PL) team, Arsenal and the German sports apparel entity, adidas have unveiled a limited-edition range with the London fashion brand and streetwear giant, Maharishi.

This collection takes adidas performance to a renowned club in London and combines it with streetwear inspired by the city.

Arsenal’s club identity is skillfully incorporated into a distinctive and modern uniform that combines the best of adidas pre-match and travel gear with Maharishi’s utilitarian aesthetic. The outfit also includes an adidas GORE-TEX jacket and pants that provide the finest performance for active sports and lifestyles.

Whether at home, on the street, or on the field, Arsenal and Maharishi have common ideals of community and cooperation, which are exemplified in the supporting campaign. Declan Rice, Reiss Nelson, Emile Smith Rowe, and Manuela Zinsberger are among the Arsenal players who appear in it.

The collection, which was created in association with Maharishi and adidas, has a custom camouflage pattern called “DPM: Bonsai Dragon Scales,” which was motivated by the upcoming Lunar Year of the Dragon.

The collection is inspired by dominant mythological creatures found all through Maharishi’s collections and combines Arsenal’s rich history with a selection of off-field items such as a hoodie, tee, and pants. Items in the collection include a pre-match jersey, anthem jacket, shorts, and socks. The club mascot, Gunnersaurus, has taken on a new form, and the pieces are embellished with intricate designs and embroidery honouring the canonical club iconography.

Reiss Nelson, who appears in the promotional campaign, said, “This range is the perfect mix of Arsenal, Maharishi and adidas – it looks fresh, and as a big fan of Maharishi I’m excited for the club to be linking up with brands that are authentically part of London’s culture. I know our supporters will really like this collaboration too.”

Hardy Blechman, the Founder of Maharishi, said, “As an Arsenal fan, it’s an absolute honor to collaborate on this range. It combines the very best in adidas performance, with the streetwear aesthetic of Maharishi. Since 1994 we’ve taken a pacifist approach to military-grade utilitarian design, representing camouflage as a symbol of nature and art, and it is something we’re proud to apply in the design of this adidas and Arsenal collection. We can’t wait to see it on the players, and hope it is well received by supporters.”

The line will be donned by both the men’s and women’s teams beginning tonight, October 28, when Arsenal will warm up in the jersey and march out in the jacket before their PL match against Sheffield United at Emirates Stadium.

From today, the line will be available on adidas’ website, in-store, at Arsenal official club shops, Arsenal Direct, Maharishistore.com, and selected merchants.
