Amazon Prime Video to distribute PBC’s pay-per-view events

Regardless of Prime membership, PBC PPV fights will be accessible for purchase by all viewers.

The Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) has secured a multi-year rights deal with the multinational marquee OTT medium, Amazon Prime Video

Through this pact, the leading digital medium will be seen distributing the competition’s pay-per-view events in the United States, which will start in March 2024.

Regardless of Prime membership, PBC PPV fights will be accessible for purchase by all viewers, and PBC Championship boxing games will exclusively be streamed on Prime Video in the US and a few other countries.

In addition, the digital platform will create unique programming including live weigh-ins and behind-the-scenes PBC docuseries. It will also offer on-demand viewing of past events, highlights, and archived videos.

Marie Donoghue, Vice President of US Sports Content and Partnerships at Amazon, commented, “We are thrilled to join with Premier Boxing Champions to bring the best boxers in the world to Prime Video, and to give more fans than ever the chance to experience these must-see events. With live coverage of PBC action throughout the calendar year, Prime Video continues to bring viewers in the US and around the world the best in sports.”

Bruce Binkow, Chief Executive of PBC’s Agency Integrated Sports, said, “Premier Boxing Champions is very proud to partner with Prime Video to showcase our world-class boxers and events. With Prime’s incredible reach and unprecedented marketing power, we’re very excited to reach new audiences for our sport as we continue to present the most exciting, competitive and biggest fights in Boxing.”
