World Table Tennis extends collaboration with equipment supplier DHS

DHS will provide equipment under the new two-year contract for the ITTF World Championships, and the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) commercial arm, World Table Tennis, has extended its agreement with Shanghai Double Happiness (DHS), a manufacturer of sporting goods.

DHS is committed to helping elite athletes. Due to its constant innovation and adoption of the most recent sports technology and trends, DHS holds a leadership position in the provision of professional equipment. Moreover, the best research and development centre for table tennis is owned by DHS, along with independent labs for weightlifting and badminton equipment.

DHS will provide equipment under the new two-year contract for the ITTF World Championships, and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as a few WTT events in 2023 and 2024.

Since 1961, DHS has funded international table tennis. It will also unveil a series of specially built tables incorporating WTT’s brand as part of its ongoing cooperation with WTT. At the Singapore Smash, DHS’ W1000 table will be unveiled. The table features an LED screen that can show real-time game data, scores, and replays and be created specifically for WTT.

The agreement between WTT and DHS will encompass the World Championship Finals in Durban this year, the World Team Championship Finals in Busan in 2024, the WTT Men’s Finals in 2023, and a few WTT Champions competitions.

The two-year agreement also includes balls for the WTT Women’s Championships, WTT Star Contender competitions, and WTT Contender competitions.
