Sony Pictures Networks secures exclusive media rights for inaugural ISPL season

Under the terms of the agreement, SPNI will be the sole broadcaster for ISPL's league matches, ensuring extensive coverage across multiple platforms.

India’s leading sports broadcasting entity, Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has secured the exclusive media rights to the inaugural season of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL).

The tennis-ball competition is scheduled to take place from March 6 – 15 from 5 PM to 10 PM in Mumbai. The deal encompasses broadcast rights for both linear television and the increasingly popular OTT platform.

Under the terms of the agreement, SPNI will be the sole broadcaster for the league’s matches, ensuring extensive coverage across multiple platforms. The matches will be aired on Sony Ten 2 & Ten 2 HD, with select games also being simulcasted on Sony Ten 5 & Ten 5 HD, reaching audiences throughout the Indian sub-continent, excluding Pakistan.

The OTT platform, SonyLIV, will serve as the digital hub for cricket enthusiasts, offering free access to thrilling cricketing action for viewers nationwide.

With this significant partnership, SPNI reaffirmed its commitment to delivering top-notch sporting entertainment to audiences, further solidifying its position as a leading broadcaster in the realm of sports media.
