The Saudi Pro League (SPL) has announced a sponsorship agreement with one of the biggest food and beverage companies, PepsiCo.

The partnership will run through the 2024–25 season and the rest of the 2023–24 campaign. The newly unveiled association has termed PepsiCo as the league’s top-tier gold partner.

While Pepsi has become the soft drink partner of the tournament, Gatorade has been named the sports drink partner, and Lay’s has joined as the potato chip partner. Moreover, Aquafina, from PepsiCo’s product line, has been appointed the league’s water partner.

On match days, all parties will take part in a number of activations and events designed to increase fan involvement.

Carlo Nohra, Chief Operating Officer, Saudi Pro League, said, “This partnership aligns with our mission to offer fans innovative and engaging experiences. PepsiCo’s commitment to soccer and its global reputation for quality will undoubtedly enhance our league’s appeal and the overall fan experience.”

The agreement expands PepsiCo’s existing considerable position in Saudi football, with Lay’s serving as the title sponsor of the Saudi Women’s Premier League.
