RCB onboard BigBasket as official quick commerce partner for IPL 2024

The announcement of the partnership with BigBasket was made by RCB on their official social media networks.

 The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have announced a sponsorship agreement with an online food and grocery store, BigBasket.

Following the arrangement, the brand has been named the official quick commerce partner of the Bangalore-based franchise for the upcoming IPL season.

The announcement of the partnership was made by the team on its official social media networks. The post said, “The delivery of our digital content gets faster and better with the arrival of our official Quick Commerce partner, @bigbasket_com! Want now, Get now! Download the Big Basket App now and get delivery in just about 10 minutes.”

Currently owned by Tata Digital, BigBasket is an Indian online grocery store with its headquarters located in Bangalore, India. Founded in 2011, it was India’s first online grocery retailer. As of January 2023, the business processes about 15 million monthly orders and is active in over 30 Indian cities.

Before this association, the side led by Faf du Plessis also inked sponsorship deals with Advance Decorative Laminates and Navitas Solar for the forthcoming edition of the cash-rich Indian league.

RCB will commence their 17th season on March 22 against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
