The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Punjab Kings (PBKS) have inked a sponsorship agreement with an Indian mobile phone company, Lava Mobiles.
With this deal, the brand has been named the official smartphone partner of PBKS for IPL 2024.
The unit unveiled this collaboration via its social media handles.
Lava International Limited is a renowned mobile handset company in India that has spread its business to other countries across the world. Since its beginnings, Lava has been at the forefront of developing a robust ecosystem for mobile handset design and manufacture.
The company has been expanding its mobile handset design capabilities, which include industrial, mechanical, hardware, and software design. In accordance with the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ plan, Lava has taken the lead in supporting this essential nation-building programme, having already established a design team in India, making it the first in the country.
Before this deal, the side also signed sponsorship ties with Timex, Astral Pipes, KENT, and Advance Decorative Laminates.
PBKS are all set to begin their IPL 2024 campaign against Delhi Capitals (DC) on March 23, i.e., Saturday at 3:30 PM, at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Stadium in Mullanpur, Mohali.
