Nespresso onboards David Beckham as new brand partner

Through the agreement with Nespresso, David Beckham will provide an intimate glimpse into his favourite coffee-related memories.

The world leader in coffee machines and coffee accessories, Nespresso has named the former England and Manchester United legend, David Beckham as its new brand partner.

The 48-year-old, who is reportedly valued at £372 million and has an amazing brand portfolio, is collaborating with the coffee giant on its newest campaign.

Through the agreement, the former England captain will provide an intimate glimpse into his favourite coffee-related memories. This entails making his favourite Nespresso coffee and taking some alone time in between his busy schedule. It also emphasises the importance of him taking a minute each morning to practise mindfulness, whether it be with his family or by himself.

Anna Lundstrom, CEO for Nespresso in the UK and ROI, said, “David Beckham has always had an unforgettable style, taste and passion for creating elevated experiences which are many of the qualities of Nespresso. We are delighted to be working with David to showcase his genuine love for the nation’s favourite drink and his journey of coffee discovery, as well as showing how even the routine coffee moments; with family, with friends, and ourselves, can make every day even more meaningful.”

On the development, Beckham stated, “I’ve always loved Nespresso coffee. Whether I am having a quiet moment at home with my family or preparing myself for a business meeting, the variety of blends is great, it’s so simple to make and every cup tastes incredible.”

The length of the agreement and its financial specifics were not made public.

The UK officially became a nation of coffee lovers this year, with more individuals regularly consuming more coffee (63%) than tea (59%). This partnership with Beckham is likely to raise these numbers even more.
