Upgame receives investments from James Milner and Adam Lallana

Upgame has successfully retained 85% of its users across different nations.

Premier League footballers Adam Lallana and James Milner have recently invested in the golf analytics platform Upgame through their firm White Rose Sports Management. Upgame has seen other investors as well like Danny Conway, the San Francisco-based man who worked at Facebook, Andreesen Horowitz, tech entrepreneur and philanthropist; Pawan Munjal, chairman and CEO, Hero MotoCorp and RN Sports Management.

Upgame is a platform for golf players which uses the latest technologies to analyse a player’s weaknesses and strengths. The platform uses mapping technology and charts to give an in-depth result from the data they received from their users. The output is shareable between the coach and the player. There’s a 790% increase in the date received and moreover, they are currently generating 30x revenue monthly since January this year.

Upgame has become quite popular and is being used in a vast number of countries for their tournaments. Golf Australia, Norwegian Golf Federation, Singapore Golf Association, Hong Kong Golf Association, Sports Authority of Thailand and Finnish Golf Union are all using UpGame.

 “This funding will be used to develop the product further by adding more sports and related metrics, and help us market the app to a wider audience. We are looking forward to applying our learnings from golf to other sports and be at the forefront of knowledge and performance enhancement in the burgeoning sports technology industry,” said Sameer Sawhney, founder and CEO ofUpgame.
