Every team is scheduled to play 20 league games, 10 of which will be held at home and 10 at away stadiums.

The 2022/23 season of the Indian Super League (ISL) began on October 7 with a match between Kerala Blasters and East Bengal FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium in Kochi. The game was won by the home team by 3-1.

The ongoing ISL season will be a treat for Indian football fans, as they will be returning to stadiums after two seasons.

The renowned competition will include 117 high-octane games spread out over ten venues in India. This will be the first time the competition will last five months. This season will also include a new playoff format involving the top six teams.

Every team is scheduled to play 20 league games, 10 of which will be held at home and 10 at away stadiums. The games will start at 7:30 PM IST.

With the competition being held in a longer format this time, ISL has undoubtedly been in discussions with a variety of brands for sponsorship deals. Let’s take a look at the sponsors of the ISL season 2022/23:

Title Partner:

One of the longest-serving title sponsors for any league around the world, Hero, has partnered with ISL since its inception. The New Delhi-headquartered Indian two-wheeler vehicles manufacturer extended the deal in 2020 for three years.

Associate Sponsor:

The organisers also roped in the Indian-based online sports betting platform, 1XBAT, as an associate sponsor for this season.

Official Partner:

The tournament inked a collaboration with the Jalandhar-headquartered sports equipment firm, Nivea. The deal first began in 2018 and since then the company has been part of ISL as a ball partner.

Official Licensing Partner:

Along with the aforementioned brands, ISL, for its current season, has announced an Indian fantasy sports platform, Dream11, as an official fantasy football partner.

Furthermore, the tournament also signed the London-based digital collectibles platform, Terra Virtua, as the official digital collectibles partner for the 2022/23 season.
