IMC, Team Liquid collaborates for charity event

The content creators of Team Liquid will take part in a 24-hour charity stream that will be held on Team Liquid’s twitch channel.

Dutch trading and market maker IMC announced its collaboration with the leading worldwide esports organization Team Liquid.

Both the organizations will be working together and will be co-hosting the Trading and Gaming for the charity event, which will take place on Tuesday.

The collaboration will see the content creators of Team Liquid taking part in a 24-hour charity stream that will be held on Team Liquid’s twitch channel.

The money that will be raised on stream will go to the Room to Read NGO, which helps people around the world in improving literacy and gender equality in education in the developing world.

Victor Goossens, Founder, and Co-CEO of Team Liquid said, “A big part of our decision to partner with IMC was because of a shared desire to help others. It’s incredible that we’re able to do this while playing games, we encourage all of our fans to tune in, watch the matches and support our players as we try to make this the most successful year yet for Room to Read.”

This is the second collaboration between Team Liquid and IMC. The first partnership took place when IMC was the supporting partner for Liquid Hacks, which was Team Liquid’s hackathon event.

Steven Biester, Global Head of Marketing at IMC said, “At IMC we are passionate about nurturing and developing talent and that’s because we recognize that people are at the heart of our success. We are committed to the next generation and that is why we fully support Room to Read’s ambitions. Success should not be limited to those who are fortunate enough to be born and raised in high-income countries.”
