Hull City name Giacom as training wear partner

Giacom will additionally continue to produce outstanding community-focused projects as part of the collaboration.

Hull City, an English professional football team, has announced that Giacom has concluded its front-of-shirt agreement with the club.

Giacom, a partner of Hull City since 2020, has rather agreed to be the club’s training wear partner.

To enable the club to finalize a club-record Championship sponsorship agreement, the cloud service marketplace experts kindly surrendered its shirt spot for the greater good of its long-time partner.

Giacom will additionally continue to produce outstanding community-focused projects as part of the relationship, which has been a foundation of its association with Hull City.

Hull City’s CEO, Jim Rodwell, stated, “Commercial partners like Giacom don’t come around that often. From stepping in to support the club in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, to supporting the Tigers Trust and giving their approval to allow us to deliver the ‘blackout’ kit, Giacom have gone above and beyond what could normally be expected from a sponsor of a football club.

“It has been a real privilege to work with the Giacom team over the past few years and not only are we incredibly grateful to them for agreeing to move over to training wear sponsor, we are delighted to be able to continue our journey together into what we all hope will be a very exciting season.”

Giacom CEO, Mike Wardell commented, “Supporting the local community is hugely important to us which is why we came forward to become Hull City’s Principal Partner and main shirt sponsor.

“We have enjoyed working with Hull City over the past two seasons, supporting the club through the challenges of the pandemic and into the beginning of an exciting new era.

“We’re excited to continue to be working in partnership with the club and to sponsor the training wear. This will continue a very successful relationship and ensure our brand remains prominent as the club’s profile grows strongly under the Tigers’ ambitious ownership.”

At the appropriate time, the complete new Giacom-branded training apparel line would be introduced by both entities.
