The leading sports management and talent firm, Cornerstone Sport has teamed up with Global Sports to organise the Monsoon Pickleball Championship in Mumbai, India. The competition is all set to be hosted at the Nesco Centre in Goregaon from August 24 to 27, 2023.
The Indian Open in Goa in 2023 attracted more than 240 players, while the Global Sports Pickleball Championship in May attracted more than 370 players. Shashank Khaitan, a renowned writer-director best known for his critically acclaimed films ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania,’ ‘Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania,’ ‘Govinda Naam Mera,’ and ‘Dhadak,’ as well as his most recent collaboration with Karan Johar, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,’ is in charge of promoting the pickleball sport, which is becoming more popular in India.
A lot of fans and spectators from every corner of India will attend the third Monsoon Pickleball Championship, which is expected to have over 600 participants. The competition will include singles, doubles, and mixed doubles divisions, with a massive prize pool of 15 lakhs. Moreover, Bollywood superstars will also grace the court for an exciting exhibition match, promising a star-studded battle!
