bet365 renews naming rights deal with US Darts Masters tournament

The bet365 US Darts Masters is organised by the PDC and pits eight top PDC players against eight North American competitors over the course of two days.

The online British gambling company, bet365 has inked a naming rights partnership extension deal with the US Darts Masters tournament.

One of the most watched events of the World Series of Darts, the bet365 US Darts Masters is organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and pits eight top PDC players against eight North American competitors over the course of two days.

In front of a jubilant Madison Square Garden crowd, Michael van Gerwen emerged victorious in the 2023 edition, defeating Jeff Smith 8-0 to take the title.

PDC, Chief Executive, Matt Porter, said, “The US Darts Masters is one of our most popular World Series of Darts events and we’re delighted that bet365 have extended their support for that and the North American Championship. The Theater at Madison Square Garden has become a real home for these events; we’ve enjoyed a fantastic atmosphere in the last two years and anticipation is already building for our return in 2024.”

Moreover, it is anticipated that Michael Smith, the 2022 champion, will also be playing alongside Gerwen when the competition returns to New York in late May next year.

A spokesperson for bet365 said, “bet365 is thrilled to extend our partnership with the PDC for two more years of thrilling darts action in New York. The bet365 US Darts Masters has become an unmissable event for darts fans in the USA, and we can’t wait to return to the iconic Theatre at Madison Square Garden next year.”

In addition, the online sportsbook provider will continue to serve as the North American Championship’s title sponsor. The competition, which features eight top darts players from the US and Canada, will take place on June 1.
