Australia tour of India 2023 2nd ODI: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

Out of 147 ODI matches, India have won 55 games, while Australia have secured wins on 82 occasions.

In the second ODI match of the three-match series, India will take on Australia at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore tomorrow, i.e., September 24 at 1:30 PM IST.

Though India won the first match, the Men in Blue will not dwell on it and rather prefer to focus on the following encounter with a clearer perspective and a few minor aspects that they would like to improve. Shreyas Iyer and Ravichandran Ashwin, for example, will want to make an impression before the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. Although Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, and the others showed outstanding form, their consistency will be put to the test once more. Another encouraging development before the World Cup was Mohammed Shami‘s outstanding bowling performance. Although Rahul Dravid would like others to take wickets as well, he wouldn’t be very concerned about this.

On the other side, the visitors were also missing a few crucial players and may not participate until the third ODI. When it comes to positives for the Australians, opener David Warner appeared in fantastic form, as did Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, and Josh Inglis. With the ball, the squad will be hoping that its pacers, who include Sean Abbott and skipper Pat Cummins, perform a little better than they did last time, and that Adam Zampa continues his excellent run.

Head-to-Head:

In the 50-over format, India and Australia have faced each other in 147 matches. Out of these, India have won 55 games, while Australia have secured wins on 82 occasions. Ten games also concluded without any result.
