World Table Tennis announces partnership renewal with Agricultural Bank of China

Following the renewal, Agricultural Bank of China consolidated its position as the official WTT China partner in 2023.

The commercial and event entity of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), World Table Tennis (WTT) has announced a renewal of its partnership with the Chinese financial institution, Agricultural Bank of China.

Following the renewal, the Chinese financial institution consolidated its position as the official WTT China partner in 2023.

The ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals Durban 2023, which begins this week, and additional events that will be added to the second half of the 2023 calendar will receive assistance from the Agricultural Bank of China. 

The Agricultural Bank of China and the World Table Tennis Organisation have both acknowledged the excellent effect of good sportsmanship brought about by the relationship in the recent past. Due to the significance of table tennis in China, both organisations will work together closely to advance the prosperity and growth of the game. 

Speaking on the renewed partnership, Matt Pound, Managing Director of World Table Tennis, said, “We are thrilled to renew our partnership with the Agricultural Bank of China. Building on an excellent year of collaboration, we look forward to working even more closely together. The Agricultural Bank of China, one of China’s “Big Four” banks, better known as AgBank was established on July 10, 1951, and is headquartered in Beijing’s Dongcheng District. It is located in mainland China, Hong Kong, London, Tokyo, New York, Frankfurt, Sydney, Seoul, and Singapore.
