WNBA nets sponsorship ties with Discount Tire and Continental Tire

Following this deal, Discount Tire and Continental Tire are set to become the official tire retailer and official tire of the WNBA, respectively.

The professional basketball league for women in the United States, the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBA) has announced a multi-year exclusive collaboration with one of the largest tires and wheels retailers in the U.S., Discount Tire and one of its top-selling brands, Continental Tire.

Following this deal, both aforementioned brands, respectively, are set to become the official tire retailer and official tire of the WNBA.

Discount Tire, headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, is a large independent Tire and wheel shop. Bruce Halle founded the company in 1960, and it now has over 1,100 outlets in 37 states. In much of the United States, the company is known as Discount Tire, and in sections of California and Pennsylvania, it is known as America’s Tire.

Continental Tire, based in Fort Mill, South Carolina, manufactures and sells a full premium line of passenger, light trucks, and commercial tyres for the original equipment and replacement markets. The brand’s high-performance tyres have award-winning technology that prioritises safety, save money, and cut CO2 emissions.

Discount Tire and Continental Tire will gain media exposure as part of the agreement throughout a range of platforms, such as TV visual signage and on-court virtual advertising during WNBA national broadcasts, as well as all over the league’s official social and digital sites. The WNBA and its new partners will also work together on future advertising campaigns. Discount Tire maintains retail outlets in nine of the WNBA’s team markets and sells tyres and wheels online to all consumers in the United States.
