RCD Mallorca renews association with Nike and Fútbol Emotion

The new arrangement between RCD Mallorca, Nike and Fútbol Emotion includes the option of extending the collaboration for additional two years.

The LaLiga club, RCD Mallorca have inked a five-season partnership extension with the American sports apparel company, Nike, as a kit partner.

The Spanish top-flight team also announced renewal with Fútbol Emotion, the online sports retailer, which will handle the new club store at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix stadium and prolonged activities of the club’s e-commerce merchandising.

The new arrangement also includes the option of extending the collaboration for additional two years.

RCD Mallorca CEO of Business Alfonso Díaz, said, “This is an agreement that was in force with both Nike and Fútbol Emotion.  A couple of seasons ago we started with a four-year agreement, but we have seen the great results of this alliance with two great leading brands in their sectors and that has led us to rethink how we could continue to grow together hand in hand.

“This is a new agreement for the next five seasons, starting in the 2023/2024 season and lasting until 2027/2028. This is an agreement with a possible extension for another two seasons too. It is a very powerful alliance with two great brands that will allow us to continue growing as a club.

“It is a 360-degree agreement where the sponsorship part is maintained as before in the Fútbol Emotion training wear and where our technical kit sponsor continues to be Nike. 

“There is also an important change in the management of our stores, both retail and e-commerce. All of this will lead us to improve and grow in terms of sales and merchandising.

“Within the renovation plans of the stadium, one of the big milestones was to have a new store – a club shop in line with the image of the club. Our fans are demanding more and more having made record sales. This season’s shirt has been very successful.

“We are sure that this success will continue in the coming seasons, but we needed a new space to make it happen and it will be the new store. We will have a large store of more than 300 square meters. It will be open and bright, where we will be able to proudly display all our kits and products.”

“This agreement means transferring that expertise in the world of retail and in the world of e-commerce that we have, backed by all these years and all the data that is there, to transfer that expertise to the world of the fan; to the world of the professional club and try to help the fans of the clubs, especially of RCD Mallorca to give a better service and a better experience. 

“It is a step forward to enter a club like RCD Mallorca, a club that combines very well with Fútbol Emotion, since it is a daring club that is on the path of growth like us.”

Mallorca will commence their LaLiga 2023/24 campaign on Matchday 1 against Las Palmas.
