In this arrangement, the brand has been named the official partner by MI New York for the inaugural edition of the competition.
The development was announced by the New York-based team through its social media handles, with the caption, “Rice to meet you, Royal Brand, our Official Partner for #MajorLeagueCricket 2023!”
Royal Brand, a US-based Indian food company, is a go-to brand for Sona Masoori and Basmati rice in America. Prior to this association, Royal Brand also partnered with the debut season of MLC as an official partner. The first-ever MLC Top Run Scorer Award for the 2023 season has been sponsored by the Royal Brand and the award will be presented at the final at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Grand Prairie, Texas, on July 30. The US entity will also provide exceptional South Asian cuisine and give away branded items to spectators at multiple MLC games.
The maiden season of the American professional cricket league will kick off on Friday, July 14, with the first game being played between Texas Super Kings (TSK) and Los Angeles Knight Riders (LAKR) at 6 AM IST.
MI New York will kick off their campaign on Saturday, July 15, against San Francisco Unicorns at 2 AM IST.
