Melbourne Stars secure sponsorship pact with Lite n’ Easy

Lite n' Easy has become Melbourne Stars' match day presenting partner for the WBBL season nine and an official partner for BBL season 13.

Melbourne Stars, an Australian T20 franchise cricket team, have announced a new association with an Australian meal delivery company, Lite n’ Easy.

With this deal, the brand has become the matchday presenting partner of the Melbournce-based unit for the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) season nine and an official partner for the Big Bash League (BBL) season 13.

Lite n’ Easy, a well-known brand in Australia, will provide vitality for the Stars in their upcoming seasons, both at home and away. Moreover, on game days, Lite n’ Easy’s logo will be visible on all Melbourne Stars digital channels, as well as on Stars TV and during all of the team’s marketing and promotional initiatives.

Lite n’ Easy is assisting in removing some of the obstacles professional female athletes experience and providing them the time they require to concentrate on their health and well-being. Professional female athletes typically have demanding schedules and additional employment responsibilities, and many are also mothers. Lite n’ Easy makes healthy eating facile for everyone, especially high-performance athletes, by offering chef-prepared and dietitian-designed meals.

Melbourne Stars, General Manager, Blair Crouch, said, “I’d like to welcome Lite n’ Easy to the Stars Family and I look forward to seeing their presence at Stars games this summer. We live in a world where everyone is increasingly pressed for time so for our staff and players to know they can rely on quick, nutritious meals after training or a match will be invaluable and I’m sure lots of families will be able to relate.”

Lite n’ Easy, Dietitian, Ashleigh Jones, said, “Lite n’ Easy can now deliver a range of meal solutions that provide a healthy foundation for a performance diet. Designed by dietitians and prepared by chefs, the meals not only taste great, but they also contain more than 30g of protein, a nutrient essential for muscle growth and recovery from training.”

Lite n’ Easy, CEO, Nathan Hayman, said, “Lite n’ Easy’s work with professional athletes and teams of all codes is all about helping players be at their best. With over 235 healthy and delicious meals, Lite n’ Easy offers a nutrient-rich foundation to support the optimal performance of any athlete. We are proud to support the Melbourne Stars across the 2023/24 season.”
