Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan reprises his role as brand ambassador for Disney+ Hotstar, this time promoting the platform’s “Free For All, Har Match Har Ball” campaign for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

Building on the success of Aaryan’s engaging content during the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, this collaboration promises another entertaining experience for viewers.

The campaign centres around Hotstar’s exciting offer: free live streaming of the entire tournament on its mobile app. This ensures that cricket fans across India can enjoy all the action, regardless of their subscription status.

Aaryan’s passion for cricket is on full display in the vibrant ad film. The commercial opens with a lively railway station scene, where Aaryan, dressed in an Indian cricket jersey, energises fans from all walks of life. With his signature comedic style and a catchy “Free for all” jingle, he announces that viewers can catch “Har Match Har Ball” (Every Match, Every Ball) of the World Cup for free on the Hotstar mobile app.

Conceptualised by the Disney+ Hotstar team and directed by Vijay Maurya, the ad film captures the contagious excitement of cricket. It also portrays the deep connection cricket holds in Indian culture, where fans come together to celebrate their beloved Team India. For an extra dose of star power, cricket legends Irfan Pathan and Sanjay Manjrekar make special appearances.

In addition to Aaryan’s ambassadorship, Star India, the owner of Disney+ Hotstar, has partnered with data analytics company CricViz to offer viewers a unique perspective on cricket analysis throughout the tournament.

The multi-team extravaganza will be played from June 1 to 29, with the opening match featuring co-hosts USA taking on Canada at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas. A total of 55 matches will be played by 20 teams across nine venues, culminating in the final on June 29 in Barbados.
