ISL 2023-24: Chennaiyin FC elongate partnership with ACKO

As per the renewal, ACKO has been named the associate sponsor of Chennaiyin FC for the current ISL 2023-24 edition.

The Indian Super League (ISL) side, Chennaiyin FC (CFC) have announced a renewal of their partnership with the Indian General Insurance brand, ACKO.

As per the renewal, ACKO has been named the associate sponsor of the Chennai-based football club for the current ISL 2023-24 edition.

The alliance, now in its fourth year, demonstrates both bodies’ dedication and similar principles.

ACKO has been a long-term partner of Chennaiyin FC, actively engaged in and providing comprehensive support for the club’s numerous activities.

Because of its partnership with the club, the insurance company has been able to expand and thrive in Tamil Nadu. The association’s purpose is to promote brand recall and affinity among the team’s fan base by providing them with unique experiences.

The naming of the B Stand at Chennai’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium to the ‘ACKO Stand’, which seats one of the club’s most fervent supporters, will be a crucial component of the relationship.

Ekansh Gupta, Vice-President, Chennaiyin FC, said, “We are delighted to have ACKO by our side for another season. Their commitment to fostering talent at the grassroots level and bringing fans closer to the club has been commendable. We are excited about embarking on a journey to accomplish shared milestones in the upcoming season.”

Founded in 2016, and having its headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra, ACKO General Insurance is an Indian private-sector general insurance firm. The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) granted the company its licence in September 2017. It uses an online-led strategy; therefore, all corporate operations are conducted via the digital platform.

The Marina Machans didn’t have a great start in the league, but they will eye to bouncing back in their next encounter against NorthEast United FC tomorrow in Guwahati.
