The Indian Premier League is back together with the Star Sports signature Pre-Mid-Post Innings IPL show ‘CricketLIVE.’
Leading online Learning platform, Byju’s has bought the naming rights for the show this season. The show will now be called as ‘Byju’s CRICKET LIVE’, after last year’s sponsor Maruti decided not to renew its deal with Star India.
The IPL Pre Show will air at 6PM for every evening matches and at 2PM for the afternoon matches. However, Star Sports is yet to announce the anchors and studio guests for the show.
It is worth noting that along with the naming rights of Pre-Mid-Post Innings show, Byju’s has also bought the rights for Co-presenting partnership of IPL 2020. These investments will make India’s leading e-learning company, one of the biggest on-air spenders for this year’s IPL.
Byju’s, who were restrictive while bidding for the IPL Title sponsorship, is spending a bomb amount for on-air advertising this season. Their total on-air spending will now easily cross 175Cr.
In addition, Byju’s is also the current Principal sponsor of the Indian Cricket team, after Oppo terminated their contract Midway.
