ICC reunites with Stats Perform for exclusive data and streaming rights

Under the new four-year contract (2024-2027), Stats Perform will be the sole distributor of data and live streams for all major ICC events.

The International Cricket Council (ICC), the governing body for cricket, has partnered once again with Stats Perform, a leader in sports data, live streaming, and artificial intelligence (AI).

This renewed collaboration, effective with the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, grants the sports company exclusive rights to distribute official ICC data and live streams to licensed betting operators worldwide for the next four years.

The agreement marks a successful reunion. Stats Perform previously held these rights from 2019 to 2021. Under the new four-year contract (2024-2027), Stats Perform will be the sole distributor of data and live streams for all major ICC events. This includes the ICC Men’s and Women’s T20 World Cups, Cricket World Cups, Champions Trophy, and the World Test Championship Final.

ICC Chief Commercial Officer, Anurag Dahiya said, “We are delighted to reunite with Stats Perform, and have been impressed by the way their recent AI-powered innovations have triggered new growth for the sports industry. We hope the partnership is another important step in enhancing the digital consumption of cricket content globally.”

Alex Rice, CCO of Stats Perform, said, “Stats Perform is delighted to be working with the ICC again, reinforcing our dedication to collecting and providing the highest quality sports data and live streams to licensed betting operators across the globe. We pioneered live streaming for betting, we know betting operators trust our sports data to provide the best experiences for them and their users. We look forward to leveraging our cutting-edge technology and extensive expertise to bring the thrill of ICC cricket to an even wider audience, ensuring that they enjoy the most engaging and reliable experience possible.”

Stats Perform will provide a comprehensive suite of services for ICC events, including real-time, ball-by-ball match data and low-latency video streams, to its extensive network of licensed betting operator partners.

This agreement aligns with the ICC’s recent efforts to expand its digital presence. Long-term extensions secured with Emirates, Aramco, and FanCraze demonstrate the organisation’s commitment to leveraging technology and innovation to connect with fans around the world.
