ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 India vs Netherlands: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

India and the Netherlands have faced each other just twice in ODIs, both in World Cups, with India winning both.

In the 45th match of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, the two-time World Cup winner, India will take on the Netherlands tomorrow, November 12, at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru at 2 PM IST.

Post winning eight out of eight matches, the Men in Blue are all set to play their final group stage match against the Netherlands. This is also an excellent opportunity for the team to tick all the right boxes once more before facing prospective opponents New Zealand in the semi-finals. Almost everything is going smoothly for Team India, from top-order batsmen laying a solid platform for subsequent batters to bowlers striking out batters right from the word go. One of the things Rahul Dravid would want to see before heading to Mumbai would be Shubman Gill‘s consistency, KL Rahul‘s long innings and Suryakumar Yadav‘s 360° knock towards the end of the innings. While both players are already doing good, it’s the only point where Team India might wanna get stronger enough. Talking about in-form players, Rohit Sharma is consistently giving an aggressive beginning which is then followed by Virat Kohli‘s masterclass batting. The likes of Shreyas Iyer, Mohammad Shami, Mohammed Siraj and others are also at their peak in the WC and would like to continue the same in coming games.

On the other hand, while the tournament is done and dusted for the Netherlands, they will still aim for a win which will increase their chance to qualify for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The likes of Wesley Barresi, Sybrand Engelbrecht, Scott Edwards, Teja Nidamanuru, and Logan van Beek will all look to give their best and pounce on the home side to score the all-important two points. Along with them, Aryan Dutt, and well-experienced Roelof van der Merve will also try their luck with the ball. At the iconic Chinnaswamy stadium, any result is possible, and thus the side will definitely aim to give India a shocking result before seeing them off to the semis.
