Forbes also states that Real Madrid have generated the most revenue of any team (873 million dollars) and earn an average of 205 million dollars per year in shirt sponsorships.

Forbes, a global media company, has recognised Real Madrid as the world’s most valuable football club, worth 6.6 billion dollars. The famous journal mentions in its yearly report that the club’s value has increased by 9% over the previous year.

The corporation also states that the LALIGA outfit has generated the most revenue of any team (873 million dollars), has won five of the previous ten UEFA Champions Leagues, and earn an average of 205 million dollars per year in shirt sponsorships, the highest total in football, according to ‘Football Benchmark’.

FC Barcelona (FCB) are third on the list, 100 million dollars behind President Florentino Perez’s club.

Manchester United sit in second place, trailing Real Madrid by only $50 million after billionaire businessman Jim Ratcliffe purchased a 27.7 percent share of the team in February.

The top ten involve six Premier League teams, which agreed on a new domestic TV agreement in the month of December for the 2025–26 to 2028–29 seasons and will generate more than twice in domestic broadcast earnings as any other football league.

Returning to the ranking, FC Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are ranked sixth and seventh, with $5 billion and $4.40 billion, respectively.

Recently, Forbes also recognised Cristiano Ronaldo as the world’s highest-paid athlete for the fourth time in a row.
