DEBET becomes Wolves’ principal sponsor in a landmark partnership

The agreement sees DEBET's logo take centre stage on the front of the Wolves' playing and training kits for the upcoming 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons.

Wolverhampton Wanderers FC (Wolves), a Premier League (PL) club, have secured a new multi-year principal partnership with DEBET, a leading online gaming platform from Southeast Asia.

The agreement sees the gaming platform’s logo take centre stage in front of the Wolves’ playing and training kits for the upcoming 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons.

Speaking at Molineux earlier this week, Alan Alger, spokesperson for DEBET, said, “This is a historic deal for DEBET and everyone is already excited for next season to begin and to see the branding on the shirts and throughout the stadium.

“Wolves is a prestigious club and everyone at DEBET is proud to be part of the biggest principal partner deal the club has ever signed.”

On the partnership, Russell Jones, Wolves’ General Manager for Marketing and Commercial Growth, said, “We are delighted to announce this record partnership between Wolves and DEBET.

“Since our discussions began, we’ve been impressed with their professional approach, and their appointment of knowledgeable individuals, who will be dedicated to making sure this partnership is a success.

“We look forward to working with DEBET over the next two seasons to grow the presence of both brands internationally.”

Founded in Southeast Asia in 2019, DEBET is a leading online gaming platform offering a comprehensive selection of sports betting options and casino games. The platform strives to provide a secure and entertaining experience for all its users.

This announcement comes on the heels of their recent collaboration with JD Sports, a leading global sportswear retailer, securing the brand as the club’s official sleeve sponsor for the upcoming seasons. Additionally, the club extended its partnership with Levy UK + Ireland to encompass retail operations.

On the sporting front, the Old Gold finished 14th in the league table last season. Beyond brand collaborations, they’ve also bolstered their squad with the signing of young Portuguese winger Rodrigo Gomes from SC Braga on a five-year deal. Additionally, they rewarded their Academy Player of the Season, Dani Angel, with a contract extension until June 2026.
