Following the renewal, Valtellina continues to be the gold sponsor of the La Dea in the ongoing 2023-24 season. The partnership came into existence for the first time in the 2019-20 season.
Speaking on this renewal, Luca Percassi, CEO at Atalanta BC, said, “It is with great pride that we announce the partnership renewal between Atalanta and Valtellina, a benchmark in its industry operating on both a national and international level and, foremost, of renowned and proud Bergamasco origins. These partnerships hold great value not solely for both parties involved but for the whole local territory altogether since they provide precious opportunities for growth and valorization”.
Gianpietro Valtellina, Chairman of Valtellina, said, “We are delighted with the renewal of a partnership that combines high recognition in the country and the values of our territory. Although Valtellina now also operates throughout Italy, with 30 branches, we stay true to our values and the passions that stem from our origins. The strong competitiveness of the team,” added Armando Roberto Valtellina, the Chairman’s brother and a Board Member of Valtellina SpA, “acts as a very effective showcase for our image and allows us to boost our brand awareness on a large scale”.
Before this development, the club also forged an alliance with OVET.
