The Serie A club, Juventus have officially confirmed the arrival of the Argentine icon and former Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) player, Angel Di Maria.
Di Maria arrived in Turin on Thursday night and underwent his medical on Friday before officializing the one-year contract with the iconic Italian top-flight team. The deal has been inked till July 2023. The lucrative contract will reportedly fetch him a salary of seven million euros ($7.14 million).
The 34-year-old left PSG after the end of the recently concluded season. The Ligue 1 team decided against extending the player’s contract last term.
The talented winger’s stay at the French capital lasted for seven years, where he featured for the team 295 times and registered 95 goals to his name along with 112 assists. He moved to PSG from Manchester United in 2015
Di Maria’s stay at PSG is also decorated with five league titles and five French Cups. He fell short of the prestigious Champions League glory in 2020 in the final frontier when his team lost to Bayern Munich.
