Andhra Premier League announce partnership with CricHeroes

CricHeroes is associated with a variety of domestic cricket leagues in India and foreign countries.

Andhra Premier League (APL) has appointed CricHeroes as its official scoring platform for the inaugural season of the tournament. CricHeroes, which is also the official scoring platform for the ongoing Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2022, has now partnered with the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA).

The inaugural season of APL will take place from July 6 to 17, 2022 at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

APL will include six teams from six different regions of Andhra Pradesh. The league will be contested in a round-robin format, with playoffs to follow in the later stage of the tournament. There will be 15 league stage games, followed by four playoffs round games. The double-header fixtures will begin at 1 PM IST and 6:30 PM IST, respectively.

CricHeroes is associated with a variety of domestic cricket leagues in India and foreign countries. The platform recently also teamed up with the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The entity also has official partnerships with international cricket boards such as the Afghanistan Cricket Board and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

Satya Prasad Yachendra, Chairman of APL Governing Council said, “The inaugural season of Andhra Premier League will witness established state cricketers and also new talent from the state who can access the facilities of CricHeroes to have a record of their performances. It will also help the scorers for the tournament to score the matches easily and keep a record digitally.”
