Rhiti Sports ropes in Chess GM Rameshbabu P.

Praggnanandhaa recently won the Norway Chess Open in June 2022 after defeating Magnus Carlsen.

India’s leading full-service sports operational and marketing firm, Rhiti Group has signed Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa, a young talented Indian chess grandmaster (GM), to its talent roster. The new agreement is for a period of five years.

Praggnanandhaa recently won the Norway Chess Open in June 2022 after defeating Magnus Carlsen in the eighth round of the Airthings Masters rapid online chess tournament in February 2022.

The Rhiti Sports and Praggnanandhaa affiliation focuses on building the young talent’s brand value. Rhiti Sports will provide Praggnanandhaa with brand endorsements, sponsorships, and meet-and-greet opportunities under the terms of the deal.

Commenting on Praggnanandhaa’s onboarding, Rhiti Tiwari of Rhiti Group, said, “We are honoured with his association. We have great plans for building his brand and also connecting with millions of his fans whom he will continue to inspire with his remarkable feats in the field of chess.”

Praggnanandhaa’s dedication to chess is clear in his daily routine and enthusiasm for the game.

Praggnanandhaa was born on August 10, 2005, in Tamil Nadu, and is the fifth-youngest Grandmaster (GM) ever, trailing Abhimanyu Mishra, Sergey Karjakin, Gukesh D, and Javokhir Sindarov. The Chennai-based kid is the younger sibling of two-time youth chess champion, Vaishali Rameshbabu.

Praggnanandhaa unveiled that he idolises Vishwanathan Anand and Mangus Carlsen. “I am delighted to partner with Rhiti Group,” he added.
