Osasuna and Toyota join forces for sustainable future

The agreement sees Toyota become CA Osasuna’s official vehicle supplier.

The LALIGA club, Club Atlético Osasuna have announced a strategic three-year partnership with the global automotive giant, Toyota.

The agreement sees the automaker become the club’s official vehicle supplier.

This collaboration has marked a significant step forward for Gorritxoak in its commitment to sustainability and innovation. Toyota’s renowned reputation for producing environmentally friendly vehicles aligns perfectly with the club’s dedication to responsible practices.

The partnership was formalized at El Sadar stadium with the attendance of Osasuna President Luis Sabalza, Fermín Tiberio, Manager of Toyota Tauro Motor and Lexus Pamplona, and Eduardo de Luis, CEO of Grupo La Grajera.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the partnership, Osasuna President, Luis Sabalza, said, “This is an important agreement with two companies that are close to us. We are united by our commitment to a more sustainable future and, in this sense, these brands are pioneers in the manufacture of hybrid cars. For the club, it represents another step in the attempt to improve day-to-day work. An agreement that allows us to advance and grow as a club.”

Fermín Tiberio, Manager of Toyota Tauro Motor and Lexus Pamplona, added, “The ideals and values ​​of both entities coincide in their commitment to supporting Navarrese sport at the highest level, in addition to generating a positive environmental impact with our Toyota and Lexus hybrid vehicles.” 

As part of the agreement, Los Rojillos will receive a fleet of 16 hybrid Toyota and Lexus vehicles to support its daily operations, reducing its carbon footprint and setting an example for sustainable transportation in the sports industry. The vehicles will also be used to transport young players from the club’s academy to training facilities.

Beyond environmental benefits, the partnership provides vital financial support to Osasuna. This investment will enable the club to strengthen its team, improve infrastructure, and enhance the fan experience.

Toyota, a global leader in electrified vehicles with over 20 million electrified cars sold worldwide and 380,000 in Spain since 1997, is committed to a zero-carbon emission future. The company’s electrification roadmap, initiated over two decades ago with hybrid technology, demonstrates its dedication to sustainable mobility and improving air quality.
