FIFA announces Betano as betting partner of Qatar 2022

Betano's primary objective is to provide fans with a responsible sports betting experience.

The governing body for football around the globe, FIFA, has announced a new sponsorship deal with the sportsbook brand of multinational operator Kaizen Gaming, Betano. Following this new agreement, the brand became the first official betting partner of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The corporation has been picked by the football governing body to actively engage and energise football enthusiasts around the globe during the ongoing Qatar-based world championship.

FIFA Head of Partnership Development, Luis Rodriguez, said, “FIFA and Betano have a shared ethos of using technology to enhance the fan experience, and we’re excited to see what they have planned to engage fans around the region. On the eve of the FIFA World Cup, this is an exciting announcement as we enter a new industry.”

In this partnership, Betano’s primary objective is to provide fans with a responsible sports betting experience of rigorous quality in order to enhance their involvement with the tournament, which began on Sunday.

Kaizen Gaming CEO and Co-Founder, George Daskalakis, commented, “We are proud to be the first sports betting operator to partner with FIFA on the world’s biggest football event. This collaboration will bring us one step closer to millions of football fans across the globe.”

The arrangement refers to a sequence of football-related deals made by Kaizen Gaming this year, which have seen Betano signing the dotted lines with SL Benfica, Fluminense and FC Porto.
