Burnley FC, AstroPay strengthens partnership

AstroPay was unveiled as Burnley FC’s sleeve sponsor as the Premier League 2021/22 commenced.

The Premier League outfit, Burnley FC has strengthened its partnership with the online global payment solution, AstroPay. Both the entities have agreed to expand their association, as AstroPay has now become the shirt sponsor of the club’s women’s team. While it has also penned down the sponsorship of the club’s newly installed dugouts at Turf Moor.

The two entities first did business in the 2018/19 season, while AstroPay was unveiled as Burnley FC’s sleeve sponsor as the Premier League 2021/22 commenced. 

Labelled as the sponsor of the women’s team, AstroPay will be placing its logo in front of the Burnley FC Women’s home and away kits. Adding to that, AstroPay’s logo will also be visible on the headrests and in the technical area at the dugouts of Turf Moor

Speaking on the occasion, Mikael Lijtenstein, AstroPay CEO said: “We are pleased to strengthen our partnership with Burnley Football Club, through these new sponsorship deals. As two innovative organisations, we share a similar ethos of being forward thinking and creative, which is why the prospect of becoming Burnley FC Women’s front of shirt sponsor was so appealing. Adding to that, Gordon Kaye, Burnley FC’s Commercial Director said: “We are delighted that AstroPay have further strengthened their support by becoming front of shirt sponsor for the women’s team and by sponsoring our new dugouts at Turf Moor. AstroPay join a growing number of sponsors choosing to support Burnley FC women’s team, and we look forward to continuing to work closely with them throughout the season.”

AstroPay was founded back in 2009. Since then it has spread its business throughout Latin America, Asia, Africa, and Europe, offering its customers an efficient and reliable payment solution.

On the field, Burnley FC will be facing West Ham United in their next Premier League fixture, scheduled on November 12. While the Clarets are currently sitting 18th in the league table, collecting 10 points from their last 14 fixtures.
