Atelier Munro to suit up Ajax for formal occasions

Under this partnership, Ajax directors, employees, and men's and women's teams will be outfitted by Atelier Munro for specific official occasions and select matches.

The Eredivisie giants, AFC Ajax have signed a new partnership with Atelier Munro, a renowned bespoke tailoring house, solidifying their “clothing partner trilogy.”

This agreement, commencing next season and running through at least 2027, has designated the high-end clothier as Ajax’s official formal wear supplier.

Under this partnership, Ajax directors, employees, and men’s and women’s teams will be outfitted by the luxury garment maker for specific official occasions and select matches.

This completes Ajax’s triumvirate of clothing partners, joining sportswear giant adidas (main sponsor since 2000) and Replay (official fashion wear partner since 2020). Atelier Munro fills the formal wear niche, providing meticulously crafted suits crafted from premium fabrics.

Menno Geelen, General Manager at Ajax, said, “We welcome Atelier Munro with open arms, and they are a good fit for us. They were founded in Amsterdam, have now grown into an international player and have experience in dressing both top sports teams and the business target group. This partnership gives us an additional opportunity to dress everyone appropriately and beautifully for every occasion.”

Jasper Willems, Commercial Director at Atelier Munro, said, “We are very proud of this collaboration with Ajax. We are convinced that this partnership will contribute to our ambition to make the world of clothing even more personal, and to increase awareness and appreciation for this. So that ultimately more people will find their way to our Atelier Munro Houses and shop-in-shops at the better retailers in Europe and North America where we can be found and our online shop.”

Atelier Munro is known for its meticulous tailoring, offering garments crafted with the finest details and high-quality fabrics sourced from leading manufacturers. The brand prioritises sustainability, believing that personalised, well-made clothing encourages a more sustainable wardrobe with greater longevity and comfort.
