Aston Villa FC extend its partnership with eToro

eToro will gain brand exposure through matchday LED boards at the club’s Villa Park stadium, as well as ticket and digital rights and media backdrops.

Aston Villa FC has extended its partnership with the social investment network eToro, with the organization aiming to provide its fans with education in investing.

eToro will receive brand exposure through matchday LED boards at the club’s Villa Park stadium, as well as ticket and digital rights and media backdrops, as per the agreement.

This is the second collaboration between eToro and Aston Villa, the company had first teamed up with the football club in 2019.

Commenting on the agreement, Nicola Ibbeston, Aston Villa’s Chief Commercial Officer, said, “We are delighted to have re-signed with eToro, following our previous partnership together. The fundamental principle of accessibility is truly aligned with who we are as a Club and we look forward to working together over the next few years.”

eToro’s Global Sponsorships Manager, Dylan Holman said, “We’re delighted to have partnered with Aston Villa ahead of the new season. As a global multi-asset investment platform, we want to open up the financial markets to everyone. We look forward to working with the Club to help bring fans closer to the action along with educating them on investing.”

The deal is in an expansion of eToro’s commitment towards football marketing. They previously teamed up with Aston Villa’s fellow Premier League team Southampton United and Monaco of France’s Ligue 1 in 2020. It also has partnership deals in place with the German football club RB Leipzig and Czech football team SK Slavia Prague.

The agreement comes in continuation to Aston Villa signing a partnership with Monster Energy earlier this week with the club naming the company as its official energy drink partner for two years.

Earlier this year, the club had also arranged with the interactive entertainment platform OB Sports, which resulted in the Asia-facing firm gaining sleeve sponsorship rights on Villa’s kits for the 2021/22 season.
