Sunderland AFC extend partnership with Utilita Energy

Utilita's logo will be prominently displayed on the front of all infant and junior Sunderland AFC retail kits.

Sunderland AFC, a team in the English Football League (EFL) Championship, have announced the extension of their multi-year partnership with Utilita Energy for the 2024-25 season.

This partnership goes beyond just branding, highlighting a commitment to both young fans and the local community.

Utilita’s logo will be prominently displayed on the front of all infant and junior Sunderland AFC retail kits. This move signifies Utilita’s dedication to fostering a love for football from a young age and supporting the development of the next generation of fans.

The partnership extends beyond the pitch. The Black Cats will continue to collaborate with Utilita Giving, the charitable arm of the energy supplier. Together, they will provide vital support to communities within Sunderland and the surrounding area struggling with fuel and food poverty.

This renewed agreement reflects Utilita’s extensive support for English football at all levels. Their dedication spans men’s and women’s leagues, from grassroots programs to the prestigious Premier League (PL).

Founded in 2003, Utilita is a British energy supplier known for specializing in prepayment meters, empowering customers to manage their energy costs effectively. The company has grown significantly, serving over 800,000 customers and holding a noteworthy position in the UK energy market, particularly for those seeking control over their energy bills. Notably, Utilita secured a naming rights deal with Hampshire Cricket, an English county cricket club.

The 2024-25 season kicks off for Sunderland AFC with an away match against Cardiff City on August 10 at 5:00 PM IST. It’s also worth mentioning that SAFC recently established a multi-year partnership with the sportswear brand, hummel.
