Shay Given extends alliance with CopyBet to remain ambassador for another season

The alliance between CopyBet and Shay Given was first agreed upon in August 2023, with the new agreement extending through the 2024–25 football season.

The unique sports betting platform, CopyBet has extended its partnership with former Irish goalkeeper Shay Given, as an ambassador for another season.

Given raises brand awareness for the betting company by sharing his football experiences and insights with the operator’s clientele. The 48-year-old served as CopyBet’s first-ever brand representative.

On the development, Given commented, “I’m delighted to extend my ambassadorial role with CopyBet and I look forward to kicking off with the upcoming European Championships in Germany. It’s been a stellar season of football, and next season looks set to be just as exciting with changes on the pitch and in the dugouts.”

The alliance was first agreed upon in August 2023, with the new agreement extending through the 2024–25 football season. The player has already appeared in a series of content across the 2023–24 season, owing to cooperation brokered by WH Sports and Bear Faced Talent.

Anton Ivanov, CopyBet UK Business Development Director, commented, “We’ve enjoyed having a Premier League legend as our brand ambassador, using his knowledge to connect with football fans. The football calendar doesn’t stop, and Shay will be providing customers with his predictions for the European Championships and then throughout the 2024/25 season.”

CopyBet, founded in 2016, is the first automatic copy-betting platform that revamped the concept of placing bets. The operator, based in London, provides both a sportsbook and a non-analogue automated copy betting system.
