Seattle Orcas onboard Veeam Software as principal sponsor for MLC 2024

The development with Veeam Software was announced by Seattle Orcas through their social media handles.

The Major League Cricket (MLC) team, Seattle Orcas have announced a sponsorship agreement with Veeam Software, a privately held US-based information technology company.

As part of the deal, the brand has been named the side’s principal sponsor for the upcoming season of MLC.

The development was announced by the Seattle-based team through its social media handles, with the caption, “We are thrilled to welcome @veeam_software as our Principal Sponsor for #MLC2024 ❗ Let’s support the transformation of cricket in the USA as #AmericasFavoriteCricketTeam, with @veeam_software protecting us with their resilience 💚”

Veeam Software is a small information technology firm situated in the United States, owned by Insight Partners. It creates backup, disaster recovery, and contemporary data protection solutions for virtual, cloud-native, SaaS, Kubernetes, and physical workloads. Veeam Software was created by two Russian entrepreneurs, Ratmir Timashev and Andrei Baronov.

While Veeam began by safeguarding data across virtualized workloads, it has now extended to secure data across a wide range of platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Microsoft 365, Kubernetes, and more.

The second season of MLC is set to begin on July 6 at 1 AM IST, with Seattle Orcas taking on the defending champions MI New York.
