San Francisco Unicorns land Bay Area Cadillac Group pact ahead of MLC 2024

The arrangement calls for the iconic Cadillac emblem to be placed on the back of the Unicorns' player jerseys for the MLC season.

The Major League Cricket (MLC) team, San Francisco Unicorns (SFU) have announced a partnership with the Bay Area Cadillac Group.

With this deal, Dublin Cadillac, Fremont Cadillac, and Stevens Creek Cadillac have become the team’s official luxury vehicle partners for the upcoming MLC season.

The arrangement calls for the iconic Cadillac emblem to be placed on the back of the Unicorns’ player jerseys for the MLC season, which will be played at the Grand Prairie Stadium near Dallas, TX and Church Street Park in Morrisville, NC all over July.

The Cadillac dealership is a well-known supplier of premium new and used automobiles in the Bay Area, and it is now led by its CEO, founder, and automotive entrepreneur, Inder Dosanjh.

Inder Dosanjh, CEO and Founder of California Automotive Retailing Group, said, “San Francisco Unicorns continue to make waves among a growing community of cricket fans in the Bay Area, many of whom are regulars across our Cadillac dealerships, and we’re thrilled to partner them towards success in this year’s MLC. They’re commitment to excellence both on and off the pitch chimes with our own and Cadillac’s path to success, and our local team are excited to have global superstars like Pat Cummins displaying the logo throughout the event.”

David White, General Manager of San Francisco Unicorns, said, “Our Bay Area footprint is key to our sustainable, ambitious vision to grow cricket and support for the Unicorns over time, and this group partnership with one of the most recognizable dealerships in the area cements this. We’ll be proud to display the Dosanjh Family Auto Group and the Cadillac logo around our MLC matches this season, and we hope that those watching back in San Francisco and its surrounds will appreciate the home connection with one of its much-loved institutions.”

The second edition of MLC is set to commence on July 6 at 1 AM IST, with the defending champions, MI New York, taking on Seattle Orcas. Meanwhile, SFU will begin their campaign on July 8 against Los Angeles Knight Riders at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.
