Norwich City appoint Blakely Clothing as principal partner for 2024–25 season

Blakely's branding will appear on the front of Norwich City's new home, away, third and goalkeeper shirts, in addition to trainingwear.

The EFL Championship team, Norwich City FC have inked a sponsorship agreement with a lifestyle fashion brand founded and based in Norfolk, Blakely Clothing.

Following this deal, Blakely Clothing has become the club’s new front-of-shirt sponsor ahead of the 2024–25 season.

Moreover, the Norfolk-based men’s and women’s fashion label has also been named the club’s new principal partner amid a thorough in-house search for regional companies with national and worldwide reach.

Blakely’s branding will appear on the front of Norwich City’s new home, away, third and goalkeeper shirts, in addition to trainingwear, which is set to be released in the coming weeks.

Blakely was formed in Norfolk in 2012 and has now evolved into a global brand, with headquarters in north Norfolk and a main office in Norwich city centre. It is currently primarily focused on eCommerce and has seen substantial development in recent years.

As part of the relationship, Norwich City and Blakely will also release a dual-branded collection in-store and online in the coming months.

Blakely’s CEO and Founder, Gareth Newman, said, “Having grown up in Norfolk and watching Norwich City play over the years, we are incredibly proud and excited to partner with the club. This partnership is more than just a sponsorship; it symbolises a shared vision for growth, success and community engagement. We look forward to supporting the team and engaging with the Norwich City fans.”

Norwich City, Commercial Director, Sam Jeffery, said, “We’re delighted to be partnering with Blakely for at least the next three seasons. It’s an outstanding brand to adorn our shirts and we’re so excited to be working with Gareth, Andy and all the team to make this partnership a success. Blakely are a Norfolk-based brand on a rapid growth journey, with huge global aspirations that we hope and believe we can assist them in achieving.”

Ed Turnham, Head of Sales and Acquisitions, Norwich City, said, “During our extensive process to find a new main club partner, we spoke to a number of national and global brands who wanted to work with us. Ultimately, we were driven to find that new partner who saw the relationship with the club as more than a pure badging exercise, with collaboration at its core. As soon as we met with Gareth and Andy, it was clear to see how passionate they are about Blakely, Norwich and the wider county. To be able to build a partnership with such a hugely progressive brand, to assist them in their international growth is tremendously exciting. The partnership will be unique across the footballing landscape, and another example of Norwich City pushing boundaries.”
