Eintracht Frankfurt reunite with adidas in extensive five-year deal

This comprehensive agreement sees adidas become the new equipment supplier of Eintracht Frankfurt's athletic teams starting from July 1, 2025.

The Bundesliga club, Eintracht Frankfurt (SGE) and the sportswear giant, adidas, have rekindled their partnership, signing a five-year deal that kicks off in the 2025/26 season.

This comprehensive agreement sees the German sportswear brand become the new equipment supplier of SGE’s athletic teams, including the men’s and women’s professional and youth squads, along with all athletes across the club’s various sports starting from July 1, 2025. This marks a return for the three stripes, who previously outfitted the Eagles from 1974 to 1978 and 1980 to 1987, a period that saw the club lift three DFB-Pokal trophies.

Axel Hellmann, CEO of Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG, said, “The partnership with adidas is a further step for Eintracht Frankfurt towards strengthening our domestic and international competitiveness. The talks were carried out with the conviction that our club will continue to develop significantly in all sporting areas. After all, as the largest multi-sports club with a professional football team, Eintracht Frankfurt contributes the full sporting spectrum to the partnership. We are delighted that we will be able to benefit from the global expertise of one of the most distinguished global brands in sport as our club moves forward. We are very much looking forward to the coming years.”

Marina Moguš, Managing Director of adidas in central Europe, “It has always been our ambition to work with Eintracht Frankfurt. The club’s appeal in the region and beyond is unique. From the 2025/26 season onwards, we want to share our love of sport and our expertise as a supplier with this multi-sport club, and generate even more enthusiasm among their passionate fans. This partnership represents a new chapter in the world of sport in Frankfurt, and we are looking forward to the coming years together in the heart of Europe.”

The announcement underscores adidas’ continued dominance in the sportswear industry. Founded in the 1950s, the iconic three-g brand reigns supreme as Europe’s leading sportswear company and a global powerhouse holding the number two spot. The athletic apparel company recently secured a partnership to outfit Cristiano Ronaldo‘s team, Al Nassr FC, starting in the 2024-25 season. The German giant is also the official sporting goods partner of prestigious clubs like AFC Ajax and Aston Villa FC. Additionally, the Three Stripes recently announced a landmark partnership with the Esports World Cup Foundation, solidifying its commitment to innovation across the sporting landscape.
